It’s important for your organization to be seen as a resource for current and potential pet owners.  Online fundraiser events allow you to build transformational relationships with your online supporters by offering them a reciprocated feeling of support and connection to your organization and it’s mission of creating more opportunities for pets to have long, healthy lives with their owners.

Dogly, one of our Collaborative Communities, hosts live, expert-led education and learning discussions where participants are encouraged to engage and ask questions.  This is an amazing support opportunity for your pet owning and pet loving to have a space of their own to grow and develop as pet owners without having to seek out local trainers, nutritionists and well being advocates on their own (which can often be stressful mentally, emotionally and financially.)  Not only do they offer these amazing events to your online supporters, they donate back 20% of all registration fees noting your promo code for each event AND they offer them free to your volunteers and fosters!

HELPFUL TIPS

  • Be consistent with your messaging in other conversations with potential adopters, volunteers, general public to state you offer learning opportunities for them
  • Post events at the beginning of the month so they show up on follower feeds and in the Community Events tab for locals or cause searching users
  • Integrate Facebook Events in as many platforms as possible – as your web developer to embed events into your Resources/Events page on your website
